A recent addition to my collection is a Curta Type 2. These iconic machines are well described elsewhere. Suffice to say that beautiful precision engineering like this is rarely encountered outside the realm of fine Swiss watches. The Curta is one of the few mechanical calculators to have held its value in real terms, largely due to its cult status among collectors.
